Ashley Klingenberg from Teague Middle School, Class of 2020 and the Central Florida Gliders Track Club in Orlando earlier this season at the AAU Club Nationals ran a highly impressive 1500 in 4:45.
Today, Ashley chopped a whopping 7 seconds from that time to win her preliminary JO heat in 4:38.
That's the fastest ever by a Florida Middle School girl. Ashley still has a whole year of middle school competition before she enters the high school ranks.
